Oásis Parque is located near the holiday resort of Alvor, a quaint traditional Portuguese fishing village and five minutes from the bustling town Portimão, one of the main cities in the Algarve. The river Arade flows from here, formerly navigated by Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs and Crusaders, you can navigate these waters in the various cruises that depart from Portimão to Silves and rediscover the shores that have remained untouched throughout time. Cruise liners dock at the city of Portimão which also offers numerous attractions, restaurants, shops and has a varied weekly cultural agenda where you will find dance and music programs such as opera, jazz, fado and rock.
The Algarve is the most southerly region of Portugal, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and under the climatic influence of the Mediterranean Sea, enjoying pleasant temperatures throughout the seasons with many days of blue skies and plenty of sunshine.
